Team Akal Network
Our Story
Founded in June 2009, Akal Network began with a simple yet powerful vision—to bring together passionate individuals committed to the spirit of sewa and create a meaningful impact in society. What started as a small group of dedicated volunteers has grown into a community-driven organisation focused on serving humanity through compassion, integrity, and collective action. Guided by the belief that every act of kindness matters, we strive to connect generous hearts with those who need support the most.
Over the years, Akal Network has led and supported a wide range of community initiatives. From providing volunteer support and ensuring safety during Nagar Kirtans to organising educational and cultural awareness events, our journey has always been rooted in serving both society and the Sikh community. We have collaborated with like-minded organisations on environmental initiatives, youth engagement programmes, and humanitarian projects, continually expanding our reach and impact. These experiences have shaped the organisation we are today and continue to inspire our commitment to meaningful service.
Today, our work extends across Education Support, Medical Aid, Disaster Relief, Elder Care, and Special Community Projects. We help students pursue their education, support individuals facing medical emergencies, respond to communities affected by natural disasters, and care for senior citizens in need. Every initiative is driven by transparency, accountability, and the belief that timely support can transform lives.
